Who needs to attend the session?

For the initial consultation, parents or primary caregivers attend to discuss the child’s development and goals for your child and family. In subsequent sessions, both parents and the child may attend together, or the child may attend alone, depending on their age.

For assessments, parents/caregivers and the child will need to attend.

The number of sessions required will vary depending on each individual’s circumstances. Some parents may need just one or two sessions to discuss strategies for behavioural support. In other cases, children may need multiple sessions, or parents may prefer a more long-term approach, meeting weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. We will discuss the most suitable approach for your family’s needs and available resources.
